Description
Federal Business Opportunities Synopsis (FedBizOpps) Information Form The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN with item description, "Starter, Engine." Description: NSN 2920-01-442-9410 - Starter, Engine is being bought in accordance with the following sources: PRESTOLITE ELECTRIC INCORPORATED (24975) p/n 859920SS An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a base of 3years and 2 option years is anticipated. This acquisition will be an unrestricted acquisition. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Small Business Size Standard is 750. Solicitation will be Other than Full and Open competition. The solicitation will be available on or about May 28, 2014 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based on Market Research, the Government will be using the policies contained in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
