- JOFOC - NIHLM2015426 Department of Health and Human Services, National institutes of Health, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), 6707 Democracy Boulevard, II Democracy Plaza, Suite 700W, Bethesda, Maryland 20892. National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) plans to procure on a sole source basis with Radio One, Inc., 1705 Whitehead Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21207-4033 for Healthy Moments raises the awareness among minority radio listeners of the research by NIDDK that can improve the lives of Americans. On April 1, 2015, a Healthy Moments Segment is moving from WKJS/WKJM (Richmond) to KMJQ (Houston). The Healthy Moments (HM) reports given by Dr. Griffin Rodgers, NIDDK. Healthy Moments will feature healthy lifestyle tips and other important health information. NIDDK wants to convey consistent, reliable, and authoritative health information and tips to African Americans, who are disproportionately affected by diabetes, kidney and digestive diseases, and other health problems. Healthy Moments raises the awareness among minority radio listeners of the research advances by NIDDK that can improve the lives of Americans. The requirement is to broadcast Healthy Moments episodes three times a week during morning drive time between 9:45 and 9:59 a.m. in addition to run of day spots. Services to be performed: Healthy Moments raises the awareness among minority radio listeners of the research by NIDDK that can improve the lives of Americans. On April 1, 2015, a Healthy Moments Segment is moving from WKJS/WKJM (Richmond) to KMJQ (Houston). This is not a solicitation for competitive quotations. However, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a statement of capabilities. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the NIDDK to determine if it can meet the above unique specifications described herein. An original and one copy of the capability statement must be received in the NIDDDK Acquisitions Branch on or before 11:00 AM EST on March 31, 2015. All questions must be in writing and can be faxed to 301-402-8501 or emailed to V. Lynn Griffin, Business Opportunity Specialist at griffinv@mail.nih.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to receive an award, contractor must be registered and have valid certification in the System for Award Management https://www.sam.gov. No collect calls will be accepted.
