QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION: 1.Do I need to print out a FAR clause 52.212-3 and fill it out or will you already have that info on SAM? ANSWER: Filling out FAR 52.212-3 is only required when the info is not on SAM. If you verify that your info is on SAM and that your representations and certifications are all up to date that it is not required. 2.Since I am sending the offer on stationary I need to meet this: "If the offer is not submitted on the SF 1449, include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation." ANSWER: Yes, because it's a combined synopsis there will be no SF1449 on the solicitation. If you plan to use your own stationary please make sure you include that statement mentioned above agreeing to all the terms and conditions and make sure the pricing format reflects the schedule on the solicitation. In addition, include any other information the solicitation asks for. 3.Did you just want me to copy the attachment you have on fedbizopps or I assume there is something shorter I can include? ANSWER: You can copy the attachment if you desire, as long as I receive all the parts of the solicitation that require a response. 4.Is there a certain brand of Deodorizers that you're looking for, and is there a size that you need? ANSWER: Any "brand" will suffice. Sizes may vary, but they must be capable of eliminating odors and providing a subtle pleasant fragrance that is not too string in small (60 sqft rooms). If only one size then multiple devices can be used in large rooms. 5.Who is the current company that is providing the services, and what was the value of last years contract? ANSWER: Actually, no company is currently providing this service. Previously we procured a product from West Sanitation that was placed in units that drip into commodes and urinals. This product was designed to keep those units from emanating unpleasant odors. Results have been poor as they do not eliminate odors well.
