Description
Preventative Maintenance and Repair of the following types of equipment: meat saw, mixer/grinder systems (single, tandem, and industrial), rotary roll-in oven (electric and gas single rack), mini rotary oven with proofer, meat conveyor, meat chopper table, meat molder/bulker, meat tenderizer table, meat cleaver, meat slicer, roll-in proofer (one and two door). The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, permits and any other necessary items to keep MFP equipment operable. This is not a unique requirement and there are no mandatory source requirements. MFP equipment located at these locations will be maintained and repaired under a hybrid contract which will consist of a firm fixed price for preventative maintenance and time and material (T&M) for unscheduled repairs. The anticipated contract will consist of one 12 month base period and two 12 month option periods for a total of 36 months coverage. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This request is for market research purposes only, with the goal being to identify potential small business concerns capable of providing the services described within the attached Performance Work Statement. Respondents should note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents providing information to this request. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to perform the required services. Responses must include the company name, address, business size, CAGE code, DUNS number, a point of contact, phone number and email address. The capability statement package shall be sent by email to brian.lewis@deca.mil. Submissions must be received by 5:00 PM ET on November 18, 2014.
