Description
The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) is seeking a single provider from 100% small business sources to provide Solutions for Video Engineering Services (VES) for the Mission Services (MS) organization under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). VACA is looking for firms with the ability to support the maintenance and operation of a large array of complex state-of-the-art presentation, video conferencing, information distribution and video production systems supporting various elements within the Agency, as well as provide a complete range of video engineering services, and the ability to provide successful engineering and integration of advanced technology audio visual systems into these operations provides critical support of the Agency's capacity to carry out its mission, including: I. The contractor shall provide engineering, design, acquisition, installation, removal, relocation, replacement, operational training and warranty services for audio visual (AV) systems that include but not limited to simple office briefing systems (computer interface to a monitor or television), corporate or executive level board room/standard conference room or training room presentation/briefing systems (single/multiple codecs, cameras, microphones, speakers, monitors and or projectors, electronic white boards, control interfaces, lighting control, etc.), video distribution systems (baseband, RF, or IP) includes digital signage, complex watch centers, broadcast video production studios, or stand-alone/networked AV recording and playback systems. A list of representative equipment is outlined in Attachment 2. The contractor shall incorporate Cisco/Tandberg or Polycom codecs or endpoints when engineering and designing systems requiring video teleconferencing (VTC) capabilities. Type codecs or endpoints will be specified in the call order statement of work. 3. The contractor shall incorporate AMX brand name control systems when engineering and designing new AV systems. 4. The contractor shall provide engineering services in a planned and coordinated manner as directed by the Government to ensure systems are ready to sustain end user support at all times. 5. The contractor shall deliver fully functional "turnkey" systems based on customer requirements. These customer requirements shall be defined and awarded to the contractor by separate call orders under the blanket purchase agreement. The statement of work under these separate call order level shall provide specific instructions as detailed per the customer's requirements. The guidelines for this service will be discussed in the proposal and execution phase. Security requirement will be at the TS/SCI level. This is not an RFP, no cost estimates are requested and the Government will not pay the costs for submission of capabilities information. Information must be submitted in 12 font, Times New Roman and may not exceed 10 (ten) pages. The title page must be named "Solutions for Video Engineering Services (VES)". Capabilities information is due no later than 10 April 2015, at 10:00am EST.
