- The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (Oakland Detachment) intends to issue a sole source order to procure the following material, HYDRAULIC MOTOR SEAL KIT, Part Number: YMD-5824-R ELECTRIC CONNECTOR, Part Number: YMD-5956 GEAR BOX, Part Number: YMD-7914 MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT PART, Part Number: YMD-6860-R HYDRAULIC MOTOR MANIFOLD, Part Number: YMD-6849 Appleton Marine INC. is the original manufacturer of referenced item and maintains the proprietary rights which make them the sole source. The NAICS for this procurement: 336611. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all proposals received within ten days after date of this publication/synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation is restricted to Appleton Marine, 3030 E Pershing St, Appleton WI. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. All responsible sources may respond by submitting qualifications/capabilities of the company to provide the listed material by response date/time listed under "Response Date".
