- GSA Google for Work Requirements REQUEST FOR INFORMATION General Services Administration Google for Work 1.0 DESCRIPTION 1.1 This is a Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI). The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking to engage industry, obtain information, and identify potential sources that can provide "Google for Work" and associated products. This opportunity is for interested parties to provide meaningful feedback to GSA IT in the early stages of market research. 1.2 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue an solicitation in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, GSA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any are issued. If a solicitation is released, it may be synopsized on the GSA eBuy system or on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. 2.0 BACKGROUND 2.1 The current requirement includes the Google Apps for Government products and the associated services for this product including transition, training, migration services, etc. The current award is due to expire November 30, 2015. 2.2 The follow-on award is anticipated in some time in October 2015. The expected period of performance for the initial contract will be December 1, 2015 through November 30, 2016 and would likely include 3 or 4 one-year option periods. 3.0REQUESTED INFORMATION This RFI is being issued to survey industry to identify potential sources, contract vehicles and any pertinent data that will assist GSA in performing market research regarding Google. 3.1 GSA is looking for sources that can provide Google for Work and associated products listed in the line item requirements below. Professional services are not being requested at this time. This contract will be for GSA to purchase Google for Work and associated products for GSA use and to support GSA administered product pilots and GSA provided shared services for customer agencies. GSA envisions pilots will last approximately 3-6 months with various start and end dates. Multiple pilots may be run concurrently. Shared services customers will be added throughout the term of the contract. 3.2 Questions for Potential Sources: 3.2.1How long have you been providing Google Services? Have you provided to a Government agency? How many people have you supported? 3.2.2What is your business size? Large or Small? If small, do you have any additional designations- disadvantaged, HUBZone, service-disabled veteran owned, etc.? 3.2.3What is your recommended contract vehicle and why? 3.2.4What is your recommended acquisition strategy and why? 3.2.5In a shared services environment, what is your recommended contract type and why? 3.2.6How should we handle technology changes as Google continues to innovate products and services? For instance, we want the functionality of the attached list of items plus any new products offered as part of the Google Apps Suite without limitation of the product names or contract type/vehicle proposed. 3.2.7For the list of requirements, what are the part numbers? 3.2.8How are the services priced (annually/monthly/etc.)? Are there any restrictions with adding/deleting accounts i.e. purchasing additional accounts/lots of licenses? 3.2.9Are there any quantity price breaks available as GSA adds clients in a shared services environment? If so, how would they be applied? 4.0 RESPONSES 4.1 Interested parties shall respond to this RFI by due no later than: 12:00PM (Noon) ET on MARCH 30, 2015. 4.2 Responses shall be limited to five (5) pages or less and submitted via e-mail to both zachary.baldwin@gsa.gov and david.taybron@gsa.gov. Proprietary information, if any, should be identified and clearly marked. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. 4.3 Respondents shall provide administrative information, and shall include the following as a minimum: 4.3.1 Name, mailing address, and phone number and e-mail of designated point of contact. 4.3.2 Identify your company's business-type (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Certified 8(a) Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Very Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based upon North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. Vendors are encouraged to provide suggested NAICS codes for this requirement (i.e. 511210, 518210). 5.0 INDUSTRY DISCUSSIONS GSA representatives may or may not choose to meet with potential offerors. Such meetings would only be held to get further clarification on a potential offerors capability to meet the requirements of any potential procurement. 6.0 ANNOUNCEMENT QUESTIONS Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing by e-mail to the Contracting Officer, David J. Taybron, at david.taybron@gsa.gov by 12:00PM (Noon) ET on MARCH 20, 2015. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Questions will be answered by posting answers to the Federal Business Opportunities website; accordingly, questions shall NOT contain proprietary or classified information. The Government does not guarantee that questions received after due date for questions will be answered. Interested parties are invited to subscribe to the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure they receive any important information updates connected with this RFI. 7.0 SUMMARY THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify sources that can provide a "Google for Work" as described above. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The Government has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
