Description

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-14-R-0146, to the Army Single Face to Industry Website (AFSI) at http://acquisition.army.mil/afsi on or about 30 Mar 2015 with a closing date of 30 days after issuance. This requirement is for the M67 Fragmentation Hand Grenade (DODIC: G881), NSN: 1330-01-563-0592, PN: 9235492; M228 Practice Hand Grenade Fuze (DODIC: G878), NSN: 1330-01-567-6575, PN: 13023630; M213 Hand Grenade Fuze (DODIC: G877), NSN: 1330-01-591-8976 - With Confidence Clip and NSN:1330-01-595-5043 - Without Confidence Clip; M67 Grenade, M213 Fuze, and Grenade Body Packaging, Cutaway Models/Displays, and Engineering Hardware Statements of Work. The applicable NAICS code is 332993. The acquisition strategy for this item is limited competition restricted to the National Industrial Technology Base (NTIB) using Best Value source selection procedures, resulting in a single five-year systems contract consisting of a one-year base plus evaluated option and four one-year evaluated options. The technical data package (TDP) is classified as Distribution D limited distribution. This TDP contains technical data whose import is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act, (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751 et seq.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended titled, 50 U.S.C. App 2401 et seq. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate IAW provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. Offerors must be registered with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office to obtain the TDP. The TDP will NOT be available until after the solicitation is formally issued on the FBO website, with valid contractor credentials. The response date listed above is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. The date offers are due will be identified in the solicitation. Estimated solicitation issue date is 30 March 2015. This is an estimated date only and is subject to change. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.5, 5.102 and 14.205-1 (a), therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
