This is a market survey for the acquisition of two (2) ARSR-4 Dual Inductosyn Transducer Assemblies (hereafter abbreviated DITAs) P/N 221594, for repair and modification of ARSR-4 rotary couplers for the FAA Logistics Center, Radar Product Division (AML-2040). The DITA is an inductive azimuth pulse generator used to provide azimuth position information for the radar. This acquisition will be met utilizing a purchase order for a one-time buy to sustain repair capabilities for the ARSR-4 rotary coupler. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Farrand Controls, 99 Wall St, Valhalla, NY 10595 on a single source basis as Farrand Controls is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the assembly and retains the proprietary rights to the original design and technical data and Farrand Controls is the only known source by which these assets can be procured in order to maintain consistent Configuration Control for the ARSR-4 radar. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey. Therefore any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of providing two (2) ARSR-4 Dual Inductosyn Transducer Assemblies (hereafter abbreviated DITAs) P/N 221594, for repair and modification of ARSR-4 rotary couplers. The NAICS CODE for this requirement will be 334511, Radar systems and equipment manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. The Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, parts, software/hardware/firmware, expendable and consumable items, and other technical and administrative support as necessary to provide the Farrand Controls ARSR-4 Dual Inductosyn Transducer Assemblies. Specifically the Contractor must deliver a quantity of two (2) Farrand Controls, ARSR-4 Dual Inductosyn Transducer Assemblies P/N 221594, for repair and modification of ARSR-4 rotary couplers.to the FAA Logistics Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make the determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors in accordance with the attached documents herein: Capability Statement “ Type of services provided by your firm Documentation that clearly specifies and identifies proof of access to Farrand Controls drawings, manufacturing specifications, and all other technical data for the ARSR-4 Dual Inductosyn Transducer Assemblies P/N 221594 All responses to this market survey must be received by 2:00 p.m. Central (Oklahoma) Time, Monday, March 23, 2015.
