Description

MAGNET DRAWING The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received and extend the due date for quotations. LIST OF ATTACHMENTS: The following drawing is hereby provided as an attachment. The purpose of this attachment is for reference and to provide specification requirements to the Contractor for quotation purposes only. All attachments included in this solicitation are owned by the Government and shall not be reproduced, released, distributed, or otherwise utilized for any purpose other than submission of a quotation and the execution of the required work without the prior written approval of the NIST Contracting Officer. Attachment #1: Magnet Drawing Questions: With respect to the magnet interchangeability: 1. Who is the manufacturer AMI 2. Field strength - See attached magent drawing for the following: 8 T Bore size OD ID Only one magnet. 3. Specifications; current draw, homogeneity... Current: 120 A maximum; homogeneity: same as in specifications 4. Weight of each magnet 55 kg. 5. Does the magnet all work to spec... yes 6. Whose power supplies are you using. AMI 7. Is the magnet a dry magnet? yes The due date for quotations is extended as follows: From: March 11, 2015 by 3:30 pm eastern To: March 13, 2015 by 3:30 pm eastern. All other terms remain unchanged.
