Description

Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision and expertise necessary to perform roof repairs on Building 2 at the Alexandria Veterans Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS), Alexandria, Louisiana. Work requires the replacement of approximately 24 clay tiles, 40 ft of roofing valley, ice and water shield underlayment, seal wood members and seal along with the inside of parapet wall receiving new waterproofing seal on Building 2 on the VA Alexandria campus in Pineville,LA. Roofing tiles will be provided by the VA. The dollar magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS 238160 applies-size standard is $15 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov) under NAICS 238160 and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://www.sam.gov ), along with Vets 100 at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html in order to submit offers and be eligible for award. All offerors must be listed as "verified" in the VIP database, available in VETBIZ at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the fedbizopps website in order to receive e-mail notification of amendments. Point of contact for this solicitation is the Contracting Officer, Paul Filhiol, email Paul.Filhiol@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is not an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Solicitation No. VA256-15-B-0431 including specifications and drawings will be issued as an IFB construction contract on or about March 19, 2015. Bids will be due not less than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and specific information for the site visit will be announced upon Solicitation issuance. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NOTE: This project is subject to the AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
