Description
The Government anticipates issuance of a contract with GE Aviation to fulfill this requirement. 1. Estimated issue date for solicitation FA8122-15-R-0012 is 18 Mar 2015 and estimated closing date 19 Jun 2015. 2. PR#: FD2030-15-30817 3. Supply: Repair License for F110 Modernized Digital Engine Control (MDEC) 4. AMC: N/A 5. Item: Repair License 6. Description: Repair License Total Line Item Quantity: L/I 0001 - qty 1EA 7. Description: Engineering Support Total Line Item Quantity: L/I 0002 - qty 1 LO 8. Application (Engine or Aircraft): F110 Modernized Digital Engine Control (MDEC) 9. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK 10. Delivery: Period of Performance is award through 31 Jan 2016 11. Qualification Requirements: This Repair License must be acquired from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Design and manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources. The approved source is GE Aviation; Cincinnati, OH; CAGE Code 07482 12. Export Control: N/A 13. UID: Note to Contractor: UID requirements do not apply. 14. Mandatory Language: Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
