- Description
- The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to search for qualified vendors and request industry feedback on the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) requirements for a Veteran Crisis Line (VCL) Call Center Solution. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the government's future acquisition approach. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a separate solicitation. The purpose of the VCL Call Center Solution requirement is to enhance and expand the current Avaya call center platform at Canandaigua, NY and Albany, NY to form a single, high availability solution. The current call center solution that supports the VCL no longer meets the current and projected demands for a call center solution and requires enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and reliability, as well as additional features. See the attached draft Performance Work Statement. Please provide the following: (1) Capability statement. (2) Identify your company name, business size (including applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s)), business type, current Government contractor registration status, and points of contact. (3) What information does industry require in terms of accurately sizing/estimating the effort? (4) List any General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules or Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts that you are currently performing under, if any. Responses are requested no later than 3 PM EST on March 20, 2015. Responses should be no more than 10 pages in length and shall be submitted via email to Samantha Fletcher, Contract Specialist, at samantha.fletcher @va.gov and Robert Kately, Contracting Officer, at robert.kately@va.gov.
