Description
Sources Sought-DTFH6115RI00011 This Sources Sought is issued for the sole purpose of identifying sources capable of performing services under the Accessible Transportation Technology Research Initiative (ATTRI) program. ATTRI is a joint USDOT initiative, co-led by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA), with support from the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office (JPO) and the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). ATTRI focuses on research to improve the independent mobility of travelers with disabilities through the use of ITS and other advanced technologies. ATTRI works cooperatively with federal partners such as the Interagency Committee on Disability Research (ICDR), the U.S. Access Board, the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC), and other public and private organizations to leverage technologies and innovations from federal and related disability research and development activities to improve accessible transportation for travelers with disabilities, and extend these benefits to all travelers. Please refer to the attachment titled "DTFH6115RI00011" for information on how and what to submit in response to this Sources Sought notice.
