- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Part 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote, SPE4A515Q1475, PR 0053301995 is being issued on 3/3/15 with a closing date of 3/6/15. This item is currently sole source to GE Aviation Systems, LLC (CAGE 05624), NSN 6105-01-250-7348, Motor, Direct Current, Unrestricted, Part Number - DYLM72701-4. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 46 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 205 DARO or best possible delivery. The solicitation terms include FOB: Origin and Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Configuration Control applies. Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) will apply. Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) will apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This requirement will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under FAR Part 13.5 for Commercial Acquisitions. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
