- Old Dust Collector Drawing. RFQ Template This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) PR# FE461042928001. Submit written offers IAW CLIN structure outlined in announcement. Quote template sheet will be provided upon request. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-78 and DFARS DPN 20141216. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 333413 and Size Standard of 500 personnel apply to this procurement. Project Number: FA4610-15-C-0003 Project Title: Woodworking Dust Collector 1. Quotes should conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation & attach 1, RFQ Template. 2. Quotes shall be valid through 3/30/2015. 3. All questions or comments must be provided to the Contract Specialist (CS) in writing via email NLT 03/03/2015. Answers will be posted NLT 03/05/2015. Telephone and other means of oral communication will not be permitted. Contracting Specialist is Mr. Edwin Dela Cruz, edwin.delacruz.1@us.af.mil The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with the CLIN structure reflected below. Required delivery date is 60 days after receipt of order. CLIN 0001 - One (1) Woodworking Dust Collector 1. All Quotes must be turn-key, Including removal of old Dust collector system and full and complete installation of new Dust collector system to include electrical, plumbing and mechanical disconnect of old dust collector as well as electrical, plumbing and mechanical connect of new dust collector, crane support for both removal of old and installation of new Dust collector. (TDDEC will dispose of old dust collector system) 2. Design must take into account that Vandenberg AFB is located on the coast of California, is a seismic zone 4 area and subject to highly corrosive coastal fog frequently. 3. All sheet steel materials must be 12 gage or greater 316 or 304 stainless steel. All other components must be 316 or 304 stainless steel. This includes all ladders, hand rails, piping, pipe fittings and fasteners. All fasteners exposed to the outside environment must be 316 stainless steel. 4. Must fit foot print of existing Dust Collector and connect to existing Ducting 5. Minimum Size, 7900 CFM fan blower or better, 30 HP 460 volt 3 PH Motor 6. Fan and fan housing must be made of 316 or 304 stainless steel or better. *Note: Primary fan exterior can be hot-dipped galvanized* and have stainless steel fan blade. 7. Fan exhaust must be provided with a silencer. 8. Fan and motor must be direct drive type. (No fan belts to maintain) 9. This unit shall have a minimum of 1,187 square feet of 16 oz polyester w/ PTFE media, with an air-to-cloth ratio of 6.65:1 or better. Cleaning will be automatic and on-demand. 10. Must have an appropriately sized automated 304 SS Rotary Air lock system. Hopper discharge clearance of 72". 11. All controls, timers and or circuitry are accessible from ground level. Motor control panel to include the following; Type 12 Enclosure, 100 Amp Fusible main disconnect, IEC Style 30 HP Motor Starter with short circuit and overload protection, NEMA Style 1 HP Motor Starter airlock with short circuit and overload protection, 480 X 120 VAC Control transformer, Lighted start pushbutton for control power and system start, AB 800T lighted Push/Pull E-Stop pushbutton for control power and system stop. 12. NEMA 4 pulse control panel complete with Dwyer timer board or equal and built-in pressure module. The pressure module sensor shall be incorporated into the dust collector cleaning system. The module should allow the collector to be cleaned on demand. A 10 point timer board will have a function that will allow no more than 2 valves to pulse at any one time. 13. All lubrication points must be remotely accessible at ground level. 14. Must include Stainless steel cage ladder and hand rails and work platform around any filter access and pulse valve accessibility, maintenance and or work areas. 15. Top load design with lift-off doors (direct access to bags from exterior) with 16 oz, Polyester filter bags w/ snap band top & disk bottom. Filter support cages, 10 wire, 11 ga. wire, with 6" full venture. 16. Any solenoids, valves, tubing and or wiring must be covered and protected from exposure to direct sun light. Mounted in NEMA 4 SS enclosure. 17. Must include 3 full spare sets of any and all consumables (i.e. Filter bags, filter cartridges etc.) 18. Explosion proof panels and baffles must meet or exceed NFPA 664 standard for the design and materials of explosion proof panels and baffles. NOTE: The old Dust Collector Drawing is provided to give you an idea what the footprint would be for the new Dust Collector.
