- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations Pacific, has requirements for dockside repair services for the NOAAs west coast based ships. BACKGROUND: NOAA Ships periodically require dockside repair services. The Government intends to issue multiple award task order contracts (MATOC) to support this requirement. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, and materials required to perform the work and associated services, including all inspections and reports, outlined in the Statements of Work and/or required in the detailed referenced specifications. A draft general statement of work and a sample dockside statement of work are attached for information purposes. A final general statement of work will be will be provided with the solicitation documents. The Period of performance for the MATOC is anticipated to be between June 2015 and July 2019. Specific repair dates will be identified in individual task order solicitations. The place of performance will be at a facility in California, Oregon or Washington State to be identified in individual task order solicitations. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 336611 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. A(RFP) solicitation may be available on or about March 9, 2015 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The estimated response due date is April 9, 2015; however, the actual date offers are due will be established in the solicitation. The proposed contract is anticipated to be unrestricted. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [Add to Watch list] and [Add Me To Interested Vendors] features which provide a notification when the RFP becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation, thereafter. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website to gain all current information related to the solicitation. The solicitation and any further announcements regarding the solicitation will be posted only at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All questions of any nature regarding this procurement are to be sent in writing to Contract Specialist, Levis Knox at levis.d.knox@noaa.gov. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov; offerors must also obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and provide it with the offer. Offerors must also have submitted required Federal Contractor Veterans' Employment Report (VETS-100A Report). All responsible, responsive sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
