Description

This synopsis is for the Pagers Services Consolidation multiple-award task order (MATO) indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract suite on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) Telecommunications Business Offices (TBO). This contract suite will replace existing contracts and task orders in order once they've reached their end of life in order to centralize management and lower the total cost of contractor-leased pagers and pager related services throughout VA. The below requirements will provide for continuity of operations at VA Medical Centers, Community-Based Outreach Clinics, and regional and local offices. Requirements consist of several contractor-leased pager types, unlimited pager coverage and services, required pager features, transition support and services if applicable, program management, and training. The requisite pager features may not be required on every task order subsequent to the MATO IDIQ award, however a vendor will be required to have the ability to provide all features. The pager types required include but are not limited to: oNumeric Pagers with unlimited pager services oAlphanumeric pagers with unlimited pager services oTwo-Way pagers with unlimited pager services oCourtesy Pagers for the waiting areas The required pager features include but are not limited to: oSimultaneous Message Delivery oCODE Pagers / Emergency Notification oMessage Carbon Copy oAlias Email oAdditional Number oToll Free Number oSecondary Toll-Free Number oGroup Call Lead/Follow oGroup Paging Setup oShort Message Service (SMS) oTwo-Way Group Call Feature oOperator Dispatch oCustom Greeting oPage Forwarding oNumeric Retrieval oPrivate Voice Mailbox oVarious Voicemail (VM) packages oDispatch Software A MATO IDIQ contract suite will be put in place to provide a flexible contracting mechanism; task orders subsequent to the contract suite award will be firm-fixed price (FFP). The NAICS Code for this procurement is 517210. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-15-R-0123.
