- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i)) with BioSentinel,University Research Park, 505 S. Rose Road, Suite 105, Madison, WI 53719 for the procurement of a BoTest A/E BoNT Detection kit, BoTest B/D/F / BoNT Detection kit and BoCell DA Cell-based Assay. These items are necessary for determining the affinity, potency and efficacy of a drug candidate. BioSentinel is unique in that they offer both in-vitro and in vivo assays for screening potential drug candidates of Botulinum Neurotoxin. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 32612 and the size standard of 500. This announcement constitutes the only notice by the government; a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the point of contact listed below. This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by the date listed below, which reflects five (5) days after the publication of this notice, the purchase will be awarded without further remarks. All questions and responses concerning this notice shall be emailed to Ms. Sheila Watford at sheila.r.watford.civ@mail.mil. Interested concerns must identify their capability in writing to the above e-mail address or by mail to the address listed below no later than 11:00 pm Eastern Time, Sunday, March 1, 2015.
