- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Walla Walla District in Walla Walla, Washington, has a requirement to furnish two new continuous duty on-line ferroresonant transformer-based static inverters for Ice Harbor Powerhouse; each inverter shall be equipped with a 10-inch updraft fan panel installed to facilitate additional cooling for the inductive components within the inverters and DC pre-charge circuit for inverter start-up, as described in Section 3.0 of this specification. The static inverters shall be quote mark plug-and-play quote mark replacements for the currently installed Solid State Control Inverters, Model Number SS12150U-13-12-60, Serial Numbers S805770111 and S805770121. The successful quoter shall also furnish one new single-phase remote manual bypass switch for Ice Harbor Lock & Dam. This is a brand name only. Project personnel will perform start-up and commissioning. The synopsis is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or proposals (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. RFQ number W912EF15Q0071 will be issued in the near future. The closing date and time will be detailed in the RFQ and any amendments that may be issued.
