Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research) and is not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Any information provided by the Government at this time is preliminary and may be updated or changed prior to release of a formal RFP. The mission of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) is to provide high quality, relevant, and unique advanced education and research programs that increase the combat effectiveness of the naval services, other armed forces of the United States and its partners, to enhance national security. In order to fulfill this mission, the Cyber Academic Group (CAG) requires the ability to deliver a section of CY4710, Cyber Wargame: Red Force Operations and CY3100, Introduction to Communication Networks. These courses are part of a required core course sequence in the Master of Science of Cyber Systems and Operations degree program at NPS. This RFI is intended to determine the general capabilities of the responders to provide temporary faculty to develop and teach Cybersecurity courses at the masters level. Students include senior leadership in both military and civilian organizations. Please see attached for task details and additional information.
