Notice: Sources Sought for Air Handler #44 Posting Date: 20 February 2015 to FedBizOps Website Industry Date: 5 March, 2015 NAICS Code: 238220 This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey) for a jobsite survey. This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the United States Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary and retained. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to offer industry an opportunity to visit Miami VAMC and determine: 1.Availability of current air handlers capable of meeting the government's minimum needs. 2.Occupy the current location. 3.Offer insight to amount of time needed to complete the required work as Government is restricted to a specific window from shutdown to start up. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) is invited to provide their supporting information in accordance with the item description noted. It is the Government's opportunity to encourage new businesses to participate in upcoming contracting actions and exchange information. The Government is inviting industry to determine the existence of potential sources to replace TRANE Air Handling Unit (AHU) model #MCC-17with an up-graded brand name or equal unit in support of the operational requirements of the Miami VA.
