Description

This is a special notice, not a request for competitive proposals. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans HCS, 1555 Poydras Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70114, intends to enter into a sole source contract with Volunteers of America to provide housing for homeless Veterans and provide a residential rehabilitation treatment program. This announcement constitutes the only notice issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.301, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The NAICS 623220 applies with a size standard of $15 Million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses to this notice by 2:00 p.m. (CST) March 16, 2015. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
