- Market Survey 1. GENERAL: The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requests a launch and recovery platform for a large diameter autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV). The contractor shall provide operational and logistic support services by providing a crane barge, tugboat, and two small Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) for the transit, deployment, and recovery of the UUV and related support equipment. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: The barge and tug shall act as the deployment and recovery vessels for the exercise and act as an exercise support platform. The small workboats will aid in maneuvering the UUV. The barge will also provide power to replenish the UUV. The vessels (crane barge, tugboat, and small workboats) will be used to support the schedule of events provided in attachment A.
