Description: The NAVSUP FleetLogistics Center Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit on an other than full and open competition basis, for specific Lenel services in support of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with M3T Corporation of Mechanicsburg since they are the only source with the capability of satisfying the government 冱 requirements. The purpose of this requisition is to procure a Purchase Order with M3T Corporation to provide New Work / Support to an already existing services contract for M3T to provide new work / support services that are necessary because of the proprietary nature of the Security Management System. M3T holds Lenel master certifications that are unique qualifications required to provide the needed CSS. Based on the technical knowledge and expertise of the requiring activity, it has been determined that it is essential continued support be provided by M3T Corporation as the cost to change the contractor during this time would not be cost effective to the Navy and national security in reengineering time and expense. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within five days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The NAICS code is 561621.
