Description

(continuation page) The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to publish a request for quote (RFQ) to furnish and installation the necessary requirements to upgrade the current Hill Rom nurse call systems, connect the system to the existing Hill Rom server and upgrade the current software in Buildings 406, 403, 402 and 400 at the Tomah VA Medical Center, 500 E Veterans Street, Tomah, WI. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, whereby, regarding the material and equipment requirements, there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services available to satisfy the agency requirements. This publication is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the assigned Contract Specialist within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist, VAMC GLAC, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee WI 53214 or via fax to (414) 844-4888. The contract magnitude range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contract shall be a firm fixed price, under NAICS Code 541519 "Other Computer Related Services." The small business size standard of $27.5 million applies. Award is subject to the availability of funds. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), this procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms (SDVOSB). In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), the SDVOSB must be verified in http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time when proposals are due as well as at the time of award. Firms must also have current registrations with SAM (System for Award Management) at http://www.sam.gov and VETS 100 at http://dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html.
