- DRAFT Performance Work Statement for Blast Media Lease and Recycle The US Air Force intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for nonpersonal service to provide Tinker Air Force Base, OK the following support: Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, material, facilities, transportation, and any incidentals necessary to provide a lease for Blast Media used in de-painting and removing corrosion as needed from aircraft, aircraft component parts, aerospace vehicles, and aerospace ground equipment. Contractor shall provide for the delivery and removal of Blast Media from Tinker AFB and shall recycle it in a manner that will prevent it from being considered a solid waste or hazardous waste. The performance period shall include a basic year and four one (1) year options. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, award will be sole sourced to U.S. Technology Corporation, CAGE Code 1AM56, 4200 Munson Street NW, Canton OH 44718. They are the only approved contractor to manufacture, recycle, and support all types of blast media required by Tinker AFB. IAW Technical Order (T.O.) 1B-1B-6WS-1, only U.S. Technology Corporation’s product, Magic II Media, 30/60 mesh size: qualified to MIL-P-85891, Type VIII, may be used to strip the B-1.
