Description

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic, PWD Newport, RI is soliciting HVAC Maintenance services at the Naval Complex, Newport Rhode Island. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation issued as a request for proposal (RFP) is N40085-15-R-3107 and is attached to this announcement. The contract term of this Performance Based procurement is an estimated 6 (six) months which includes a 4 month base period and 2 one month options.. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and has a size standard of 15 million. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation. Questions should be submitted via e-mail to: leslie.brazil@navy.mil. No paper copies will be mailed. Failure to respond to this RFP and associated amendments, if applicable, prior to the closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. The proposed procurement listed herein is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The RFP will be available in electronic format only (Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)) and is posted, simultaneously with this synopsis, on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Notifications of any updates or amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the website only. Contractors are encouraged to register on the NAVFAC NECO website. HOWEVER, IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR CHANGES.
