- Repair Autec Pier 1902 at Andros Island, Bahamas includes repairs to the primary operational pier facility at Andros Island, Bahamas. Work includes repairs to the substructure, superstructure, deck, mooring/berthing system, appurtenances, and incidental work. The contractor shall perform all services necessary for the repair of Autec Pier 1902 including repairs to the primary operational pier facility at Andros Island, Bahamas in accordance with the plans and specifications included with the Request for Proposal (RFP). The total completion time for this project is 480 calendar days; 240 calendar days for CLIN 0001 from the contract award date and 240 calendar days for OPTION CLIN 0002, from the date the option is exercised. Liquidated damages are applicable to this contract in the following amount for each CLIN: CLIN 0001: $2,450 per calendar day of delay CLIN 0002 “ Option: $2,097 per calendar day of delay Procurement Method: Contracting by Negotiation - Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237990 and the annual size standard is $36.5 Million. Estimated cost: $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. The proposed contract will be solicited inviting full and open competition. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The solicitation should be available at this site on or about 27 February 2015. Anticipated Proposal Due Date: mid-April 2015 Contract Award is anticipated July 2015 A site visit will be conducted. Tentative date for the site visit will be mid-March. Information regarding site visit will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance, experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of at least 20 percent of the bid price but not exceeding $3 million.
