Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Minimal Essential Characteristics (MEC) Establish a base plus four year IDIQ for dry ice U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) has a need for dry ice. Two deliveries a week, delivered on Monday and Thursday, are anticipated. Because of changing needs, the government reserves the right to order additional quantities with a 24 hour notice. Additional quantities may utilize payment via WAWF, GPC, or other method. Must come in a container/bin that can hold at least 600 LBS Container must be on rollers/casters Container must be insulated to retard evaporation Container will have dimensions of: 0. Length: 36 quote mark to 42 quote mark 1. Width: 40 quote mark to 46 quote mark 2. Height: 24 quote mark to 36 quote mark Pellets must be 5/8 quote mark Temperature must be -109F to -110F Vendor must be able to deliver at least two containers/bins a week (Delivered on Mondays, or Tuesday if Monday is Federal Holiday, and Thursday) with an option of delivering additional bins/containers within 24 hours. Deliveries must be made between the hours of 0800-1530 (8:00 AM-3:30 PM) Delivery personnel must be able to pass background check to be able deliver product
