WC-133M-14-RQ-1228 Brand Name Justification Combined Synopsis Solicitation: Transformer Rectifier Unit (TRU) & UPS This solicitation is being issued as Request for Quote (RFQ). Written quotes are being requested. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a solicitation from the United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City (EAD-KC), 601 East 12 th Street, Room 1734, Kansas City, MO 64106. The requirement is to provide the following items: Ø Transformer Rectifier Unit (TRU) o Qty: 8 o Part Number 28VS240Y-34 Ø UPS Module for TRU o Qty: 6 o Part Number 28VUPS29F All items under this contract shall be FOB Destination and shall be delivered to the U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA/Aircraft Operations Center located at 7917 Hangar Loop Dr. Hangar #5, MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL) 33621-5401 This RFQ and the following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-78. This procurement is unrestricted and the associated NAICS code is 336412 with a size standard of 1000 employees. EAD-KC requires that all contractors to be eligible for award, the quoter must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) database and complete the “Core Data”, “Assertions”, “Representations and Certifications”, and “Points of Contact”. No award can be made to a company not registered in SAM.
