This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS code 812331 (size standard of $32.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FedBizOpps website. Any and all responses to this sources sought synopsis ARE NOT considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements. All interested vendors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement directly. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 10, Network Contracting Office 10, is seeking sources for a potential contractor to provide linen supply at a contractor owned/contractor operated bulk laundry facility. All labor, materials, supplies and transportation would be at the contractors' expense. All services are to be performed in accordance with standard medical industry practices and quality control measure. Services are for three Medical Center locations, local Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's) and Satellite Facilities within the local areas of each VAMC in Dayton, Columbus and Chillicothe. 1. Dayton VA Medical Center (DVAMC) 4100 West 3rd Street Dayton, OH 45428. 2. Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (COLUMBUS ACC) 420 North James Rd Columbus, Ohio 43219 3. Chillicothe Medical Center (CMC) 17273 State Route 104 Chillicothe, OH 45601 All three VAMCs fall under the Ohio VA Health Care System (OVAHCS). The OVAHC intends to award a contract for the base year period of performance and anticipates three option years, to be exercised at the Government's discretion in addition to the base period subject to the availability of funding. This procurement is conducted under the authority listed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The service requested shall begin on or about 1 August 2015, but no later than 1 October 2015.
