Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that are capable of providing Fire Protection Services for the Sheridan VA Health Care System (SVAHCS), Sheridan Wyoming. The location for these services is 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. The Contractor shall provide fire protection services to the SVAHCS twenty four (24) hours a day / seven (7) days a week, including holidays. The fire protection services shall cover all buildings owned by the SVAHCS as well as equipment and material located therein. The Contractor shall respond from a fire department located no further four (4) miles from the SVAHCS campus. When an alarm is activated the Contractor shall respond with a minimum of one 1,250 GPM pumper and four trained firefighters. All responses shall be in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1901. The Contractor shall take appropriate actions to suppress any fire and perform rescue associated with these fires. At a minimum, all responding personnel shall be trained in first aid. The information submitted shall contain the company's business size status. This is a request for information and sources only! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The VA will not pay for any information received resulting from this sources sought notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged.
