- Description
- An upcoming request for proposal, Solicitation No. SP4520-15-R-0003, for non-personal services for inspection, packaging/repackaging, loading, unloading, containerization, removal, transportation, storage, recycling, reuse, recovery, treatment, and disposal of hazardous and regulated substances from U.S. Military Installations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Bremerhaven, Germany, will be issued in the near future. Under the resultant contract, the contractor agrees to provide all services necessary for the final treatment/disposal of the hazardous property listed in the schedule in accordance with Dutch, Belgian, German Laws, the laws of nations thru which waste may be transited or disposed (if different from the host nation), European Union (EU) and international environmental, safety and health laws and regulations; international agreements and relevant host nation, transit nation, disposal nation, and European Union laws, regulations governing the generation, storage, transportation and disposal/recycling of dangerous goods; and in conformance with industry standards that minimize risks to human health and the environment, in addition to the terms and conditions of the resultant contract. These services shall include all necessary labor, supplies, material, transportation, and equipment, as well as the compilation and submission of all documentation required by the resultant contract. Solicitation issuance is expected on/about 20 February 2015, although interested offerors are advised to monitor this site frequently, as the solicitation will be issued as soon as possible, with the closing date expected thirty days after issuance. The resultant contract will have an 18-month base period, and two 18-month option periods. Performance under the resultant contract will be requested via issuance of written task orders. Selection of a firm for contract award is expected to be based on a combination of price and past performance.
