Description
STATEMENT OF WORK: 1. Base Contract - Rental of One (1) Triple Wide Conference Room Trailer 36 X 34 without Columns at Dry Dock # 1. Trailer is already on-site at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Trailer was installed under contract N00189-13-F-N009 with Williams Scotsman Inc. 1.1 Trailer serial # is: 35230 - unit number CPX-81036 consisting of units W-35230, W-29919 and W-30698 1.3 Period of performance is from contract award through February 15, 2016 with two (2) one year options. 2. Removal of Trailer at close of rental period. SPECIFICATIONS This specification covers the lease, quality assurance and on site assistance of a conference room trailer for use in Norfolk Naval Shipyard at Dry Dock No. 8 in Portsmouth, Virginia. 1. Government Responsibility 1.1. Equipment damage beyond normal wear and tear. 2. Contractor Responsibilities 2.1. The contractor shall dispatch a representative in response to a service request to repair and/or replace any equipment within 24 hrs of notification by Norfolk Naval Shipyard at no additional charge. 2.2. When new standards are issued by NNSY, the contractor must make modifications to trailers within 30 days of notification of the new standards. 3. Guiding Documents Ø Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, 3-301-01, 3-600-01 Ø National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1, Fire Code Ø National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70, National Electrical Code (NEC) 4. Safety Documents 4.1. Per far 22.102-1 (A) Entitled Safety , contractors are hereby informed that their employees or representatives present on property under Norfolk Naval Shipyard cognizance must follow Federal and State OSHA requirements and Norfolk Naval Shipyard OSHE program manual, NAVSHIPYDNORINST P5090.2 Requirements or safety requirements for site specific location of the contract. PICKUP/REMOVAL OF RENTAL UNITS: Unless otherwise notified by NAVFAC Contracting Officer, Norfolk Naval Shipyard PWD Portsmouth, rental/lease unit(s) shall be picked-up (removed) by Contractor on the morning after expiration of the established contract period of performance. In the event that this date occurs on a Saturday, Sunday, or a recognized Federal Holiday, the contractor may make the appropriate arrangements to pick-up the equipment on the first working day following the expiration of the contract at no additional cost to the Government. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: (i)Will be under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a Single Source Determination procurement. (ii)Anticipated award date February 25, 2015
