Description

The Washington Homeland Security Roundtable (WHSR) in collaboration with the Security Manufacturers Coalition (SMC) announces a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Acquisition Reform Industry Forum. The WHSR /SMC/TSA Acquisition Reform Industry Forum is designed to create dialogue between TSA and Industry on the new Acquisition Reform Framework, with specific focus on the TSA 5-Yr Technology Investment Plan. http://homeland.house.gov/bill/hr-2719-transportation-security-acquisition-reform-act The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5th from 9:00-11:00am at the Transportation Security Integration Facility (TSIF) at Reagan National Airport. Registration will open at noon on January 29, 2015 at the link below. Register at www.whsroundtable.org/TSA-AcqReform Participation is for senior industry executives and will be offered for one (1) participant per firm. The meeting will be open on a first come, first serve basis to both WHSR and SMC members and non-members. Participation will be limited to 60 people, so industry is encouraged to register early. Traditional and non-traditional contractors and all types of small businesses are encouraged to participate. All participants must be registered in www.SAM.gov to be eligible to participate. Additional information on details and registration for the WHSR/TSA Acquisition Reform Program will be available on www.whsroundtable.org/TSA-AcqReform.
