- Description
- Description: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished in the Performance-based Work Statement, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) in US Military Bases in Kanagawa Prefecture (Yokosuka, Atsugi, and Camp Zama), Japan. The period of performance is anticipated to be for a six (6) months Base Year (from 1 Jul 15 thru 31 Dec 15) with four (4) one-year options (Option Year: 1 Jan XX thru 31 Dec XX), for total of four (4) years and six (6) months. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Jul 15. This service includes but is not limited to packing, containerization, providing storage and local drayage of household goods for inbound, outbound, intra-city and intra-area services as defined in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS).
