Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the VA to interested sources to provide the following: Two (2) 90/100 pound washer extractors Two (2) 120/130 pound drying and conditioning tumblers One (1) 200/300 pound gas heated drying and conditioning tumbler with automatic dryer discharge take away conveyor and external lint collection system One (1) 400/500 pound gas heated drying and conditioning tumbler with automatic dryer discharge take away conveyor and external lint collection system Two (2) small piece folding machines One (1) 600/700 pound washer extractor One (1) 400/500 pound washer extractor One (1) 200/300 pound washer extractor One (1) garment tunnel finisher Replacement of components of the automated soil and clean side monorail system Replacement of components and painting of the automated soiled sorting, storage conveyors on the soiled side, dryer take away conveyor and clean side linen take away One (1) laundry ancillary support water storage/pumping system equipment, system and related systems. One (1) garment exchange system (uniform/scrubs) One (1) staph barrier wall Replacement of components and paint existing Norman sheet feed conveyor Alternates: Five (5) height adjustable folding tables Refurbish the existing Gardner linen storage flow rack This equipment is to be installed at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Laundry Facility located in St. Cloud, MN. NAICS code 333318 and Small Business Size Standard 1,000 employees are applicable to determine business size standard. Request for Proposals shall be issued on or about February 6, 2015.
