Description

This is a presolicitation notice synopsizing the upcoming release of a request for proposal (RFP) solicitation for a services contract-NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (hereinafter referred to as VAPHS), located in Pittsburgh, PA, will be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Teleradiology Services. The Teleradiology Services are considered to be commercial services and will generally consist of providing professional offsite radiology services for after-hours interpretation of imaging studies performed at the VAPHS. Specifically, the contractor will provide final interpretations for imaging studies performed. This acquisition will be totally set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business competition under NAICS code 62111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists); the U. S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) size standard for this NAICS code is $11 million. The intended contract will be a single-award, 5-year Fixed Price Indefinite - Delivery / Indefinite - Quantity contract. The targeted RFP release timeframe is mid-to-late January 2015. The targeted start date for the provision of the Teleradiology Services is March 1, 2015.
