Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice: Valet Parking Services This is a pre-solicitation notice for a Valet Parking Services contract. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, Network Contracting Office, intends to acquire valet parking and shuttle services for VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS), 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161 and Mission Valley Clinic, 8810 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, CA 92108. The Contractor shall provide said services Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays at both locations. All on-site parking needed for valet services and any shuttle service from the medical center entrance to this on-site parking lot for contractor staff shall be provided by the contractor. This contract will have one base year and up to four option years. Anticipated start date is March 1, 2015. The applicable NAICS Code is 812930, Parking Lots and Garages (SBA size standard $35.5 Million). The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for VetBiz verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). NOTE - A SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on or around February 2, 2015 and will be published on the FBO website at www.fbo.gov. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFQ solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. The Contracting Specialist will not be able to answer any questions pertaining to this notice until an RFQ is issued. A one-time Site Visit will take place after the posting of the solicitation in order to afford all interested parties equal opportunity to observe the physical characteristics of the Medical Center and the surrounding area. The date and time of this Site Visit will be posted in the solicitation. Questions resulting from the solicitation and pre-bid investigation will only be answered if received by Request for Information (RFI) via email. It is the responsibility of the bidder to monitor and download amendments from fedbizopps which may be issued to this solicitation. All interested SDVOSBs must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.; registered and viewable as a SDVOSB at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/; their Annual Representations and Certifications must be current and filed online and viewable through SAM.
