- The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking a detail oriented Program Analyst to serve in its Washington, DC-based technical assistance program. The person selected will be hired under a personal services contract. The Office of Technical Assistance provides advisors to counterpart foreign governments in over 50 countries. The Program Analyst will support the office in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating program office activities. These duties include, but are not limited to: coordinating all aspects of the complicated process of processing personnel and personal services contractors; maintaining specialized information concerning the status of present positions, personnel and contracts; monitoring transactions to ensure policies and procedures are followed and there is adequate documentation supporting the transactions and ensuring the integrity of requisitions and other related transactions and the overall financial health of the technical assistance program. The ideal candidate will have a degree in public administration, international affairs, or other relevant subject matter; five to ten years of work experience, preferably in administration or management in connection with U.S. Government foreign assistance, NGO operations or governmental budgeting and financial management. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as facility with word processing and spreadsheets are required. Experience working with financial management information systems is desirable. Foreign language ability is a plus. US citizenship is required. SALARY: In accordance with program regulations and based on demonstrated salary history, salaries range from $43.52 to $56.57 per hour. Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate level of security clearance, potentially up to the level of Secret. Candidates will also be required to obtain medical clearance prior to international travel for OTA.
