- The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking capability statements from businesses that can provide construction services including labor, material and equipment for the construction of a waste water treatment facility. This future project will be a design bid build project. This is not a solicitation, or an announcement of a solicitation. This is a 'Sources Sought' action only. The purpose of this 'Sources Sought' is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Feedback on individual submissions will not be provided. The applicable NAICS code is 237110, Sewage Treatment plant construction Information Sought: Businesses having the ability to provide the services listed in the description below shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting their experience, expertise, and current company profile to include office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE Code, small business designation/status claimed and annual revenue. Responses shall not exceed five (5) pages and should clearly indicate whether the organization is able to provide the services described below: The proposed waste water treatment plant will be located immediately adjacent to the existing plant and will consist of a concrete and masonry building approximately 102-feet long x 45-feet wide. The lower level will house the membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment tanks and processes, and the second level will house offices and other building components. Construction will require improvement of existing and development of new roadways, upgrading of water, and electrical services, as well as construction of the new plant and removal of the existing plant. The project will be constructed in a phased approach, since the new facility must be fully operational and meet regulatory discharge requirements before demolition can begin on the existing plant. The construction project will be completed at Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center, Federal Emergency Management Center, located at Mt. Weather VA. Responses are due no later than 1:00PM Local Time (Mt. Weather, VA.) on January 28, 2015 and shall be sent by email to Mr. Matthew A. Raible at Matthew.Raible@fema.dhs.gov. Telephone calls regarding this notice will not be accepted. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. This is not a request for proposals. The Government WILL NOT CONDUCT a site visit for this sources sought notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract based upon responses under this announcement, nor otherwise pay for preparing any information sent or the Government's use of the information. Any proprietary information should be so marked.
