- Description
- The Public Works Division at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of nine (9) transformers in various sizes - CLIN 0001- pad mount transformer, qty-one (1), 750 KVA; CLIN 0002- pad mount transformer, qty-one (1), 500 KVA; CLIN 0003- pole mount transformer, qty -three (3) 37.5 KVA; CLIN 0004- pad mount transformer, qty- four (4) 37.5 KVA. The proposed acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 335311, Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This procurement will be subject to the Buy American Act. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis for all items. The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. Transformer specifications will be included with the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about 7 Jan 2015. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://www.sam.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well. All prospective quoters interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). and Quoters agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Inspection, Receiving, Acceptance and Property Transfer (IRAPT) formerly WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
