- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Army Pacific Commander, has directed the implementioin of a year-round Advanced Culinary Arts Program for Hawaii based military Soldiers. The government Culinary Arts Program offered at Fort Lee, VA is a 5-week course that is geared towards Soldiers entering into the mark Enlisted Aide program and currently has a wait list. The cost of traveling to CONUS in order to attend a formal program is currently cost effective bringing a qualified Chef Instructor to Hawaii saves time and money.
