Description

This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for Ambulance vehicle transportation and contractor personnel to include one Ambulance Driver and one Emergency Medical Technician to Veteran Affairs beneficiaries receiving care at the Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Laboratory, 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Transport will be provided to a destination within a 30 mile radius of the Wilkes Barre VAMC Main Campus with destination information to be provided at time of initial notification by Clinical Staff of Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center to Ambulance staff members. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 621910 with Small Business size of $15 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for up to five years in duration for ambulance services. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please read through the DRAFT PWS before responding to this notice. If your company provides ambulance services to either all or some of the areas identified, please provide the information requested below: 1.Company Name 2.Company Duns & Bradstreet Number 3.Socio-economic Status (e.g. large business, small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, etc.) 4.Point of Contact with Name, Email Address, and Telephone Number 5.What service areas does the company currently operate? Please identify the county(ies). Providing a map of coverage areas would be helpful, but is not mandatory. 6.Are there any exclusivity agreements applicable to service areas? If so, please provide general details. 7.How many ambulance vehicles does the company have? Please describe the average age of the fleet.
