- Description
- 15-T-0054 RFQ Solicitation 2 The purpose of the amendment is to add additional details: To get a VSWR measurement, there should be two power detectors on the meter: forward and reverse. It should start by turning on the forward RF detector and begin sampling every 10 microseconds. If the meter detects a signal, it will take 500 samples (for a total of 5 milliseconds). If there is no signal detected, the meter would keep sampling for up to 40,000 samples (for a total of 400 milliseconds) looking for a pulse. In this sense, the sampling period is between 5 milliseconds and 400 milliseconds depending on when it first sees a pulse. The same process applies for the reverse power detector. The meter should display a reading every 1.04 seconds.
