- P15PS00135 Wage Determination ME140008 Rev. 3 Contract Price Schedule Specifications and Drawings General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting firm-fixed priced sealed bids from responsible total small business contractors having the capability to perform the rehabilitation of the Masonry and Concrete Walls associated with the section of steps to the upper sections of the viewing platform at Thunder Hole, within Acadia National Park, Hancock County, ME. The work includes: Removal of existing granite veneer, mortar and anchors; Palletizing veneer and transport to an Acadia National Park storage site; Removal of granite capstones to be retained on site for reuse; Removal of exhibit frame; Temporarily supporting existing railing system in place; Removal of portions of the underlying concrete wall in order to tie in new rebar; Fabricate and install rebar, and Form and pour a concrete cap over the existing concrete core, Remove forms, buff out irregularities and reset the granite cap stones; and Install two Government furnished exhibit frames. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation services and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. All work will be performed under a single contract. The Solicitation Number will be P15PS00135. Type of Acquisition: A competitive firm-fixed price sealed bid (FAR Part 14). The NAICS code for this project is 237990 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. This solicitation is advertised as a total small business set-aside. The Secretary of Labor Wage Determination General Decision Number: ME140008, Rev. 03 dated 08/22/2014 applies to this solicitation. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Period of Performance for onsite work on site shall be between 30 March 2015 and 22 May 2015. See Solicitation Section L, FAR Clause 52.236-27, Site Visit (Construction) - Alternate I for organized site visit information. See Specification Section 01010-1, Summary of Work, for information concerning any facilities, such as utilities, office space, and warehouse space to be furnished during construction. See Solicitation Section L, Special Notice 1, Delivery of Offers, for instructions concerning bids. The projected award date is on or about 02/15/2015.
