- map The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking expressions of interest for the following type space: Airport space: Aircraft hangar (4,500 SF) and flight preparation office space (3,500 SF) along with six (6) reserved/secured surface parking spaces within the described delineated area: Starting east at Long Island MacArthur (KISP), west to LaGuardia (KLGA), south to JFK (KJFK) and back to point of begining (see attached map). Additional Requirements: Flight preparation office space must be one contiguous block adjacent to hangar without being split by a public corridor. Administrative office space is to be contiguous and independent of maintenance personnel offices. In a multi-tenant facility, there must be a separate public access point and secure entrances for the Government to the proposed space. Airport shall be an all-weather facility, day/night operation with a minimum 6,000 feet runway including precision approach and secured ramp area with limited access at all times available 24/7. The Government reserves the right to determine suitability of other tenants and acceptability of offered space including but not limited to, building systems and appearance, surrounding area, structural integrity and security installations. Offered space must be made to meet Government requirements for fire protection and life safety, accessibility, seismic, sustainability and be fully serviced. Lease Terms: Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 5 years Option Term: 5 one year options Occupancy Date (Estimated): TBD Submission Requirements: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum: Building name/address Legal property description and property identification numbers Location of available space and square foot measurements Site map and plans Rate per square foot, fully serviced Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact - In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement and permission is required.
