- The United States Air Force, 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS) is seeking sources for two (2) full color 3'5" x 7'3", 19mm or greater resolution and display electronic message centers (EMC). DISCLAIMER: This sources sought notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this sources sought notice. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought notice. INTRODUCTION: This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on businesses capable of providing the equipment as described herein. 375 CONS is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this sources sought notice will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future requirement(s) evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated that the contractor will provide the equipment required to accomplish all capabilities listed in the description of requirements shown below. The contractor will provide two (2) full color 3'5" x 7'3", 19mm or greater resolution and display electronic message centers (EMC). 1. Description of Work: A. Contractor shall replace existing electronic messaging centers at the Belleville and Shiloh Gates. Each EMC has two screens (one on each side of the marquee). The current EMC's are housed in brick and the structure must not be modified more than necessary to complete the project. The EMC dimensions must fit the current infrastructure as close as possible. The contractor is responsible for providing and installing molding/edging to cover any gaps or openings. The new EMC's must be 19mm or greater resolution and display in full color. The dimensions are 3'5" x 7'3". Contractors will need to field verify all dimensions and ensure the new screens and components will fit in the space. Contractor is also responsible for ensuring all electrical and communication connections work properly. B. Contractor shall replace existing wireless systems to communicate between the EMC and the respective gate which provides final connection to the 375 AMW/PA Bldg 700W. C. Contractor shall replace existing EMC software to generate messages. Current software is Oh Media V1.2 running on a Dell Latitude E6410. New software must run on a Microsoft Windows operating system, which will be using Windows 7 Enterprise. Contractor must give training on new software. D. Contractor will ensure all displays, wireless receivers and transmitters, and software work correctly prior to completing the contract. 2. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339950 - Sign Manufacturing 3. Submission Details: Request responses include the following: A. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, NAICS code, GSA schedules or any contract vehicles that would be held, CAGE code. B. Identification of business size (Large or Small) and whether currently designated as a Small Business as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19.1, and the appropriate categories (small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), service disabled veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, woman-owned small business, HUB zone minority-owned, etc.). C. Demonstrate abilities to fulfill this requirement and any other information deemed useful to the Air Force. 4. If your company is capable of meeting the requirements listed above, please send all responses in accordance with the submission details listed in Para 3 above no later than 4:00 PM CST, 2 Jan 15 to TSgt Lemonica Williams at lemonica.williams@us.af.mil. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All Government and contractor personnel reviewing sources sought responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from authorized disclosure of proprietary information as described 41 USC 423. The Government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.
