- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)has a requirement to build, test, and deliver a common operational LWWAA and WAA Software to meet all requirements specified in the "AN/BQQ-10(V) Light Weight Wide Aperture Array (LWWAA) and Wide Aperture Array (WAA) Processing Specification" (PMS401-WAASpec-01). This requirement will explore existing and new approaches to sensor processing and develop new or augment existing capabilities as required to meet the Navy's SSN688I, SSN21, and SSN 774 Class Submarines acoustic processing. This effort will include program management, engineering, software development, logistics, configuration management, software integration test and evaluation, and Information Assurance (IA), of the Light Weight Wide Aperture Array (LWWAA) and Wide Aperture Array (WAA) systems. The delivery and acceptance of the common LWWAA and WAA Software shall be contingent on successful completion of qualification and acceptance testing. The RFP will be published in FEDBIZOPPS on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested offerors should watch FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFP. The RFP is anticipated for release in second quarter Government Fiscal Year [GFY] 2015, with award anticipated in fourth quarter GFY 2016. The period of performance is estimated to be a one-year base period and four one-year option periods starting from contract award in GFY 2016. This contract will be competitively awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (a) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.401 (b). This announcement is published for informational purposes only.
